    Chris Fay


    Chris graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Physics, and went on to spend the first 10 years of his career at BICC. In 1999, after almost 10 years at AC Egerton Ltd, , Chris set up Passcomm with the late Bernard McCabe. Over the last 17 years the business has grown into an innovative solutions provider to a wide range of industries.

    Chris is passionate about the delivery of ultra-fast fibre connectivity solutions, a growing arm of the Passcomm business, where it partners with ISPs to deliver G-PON based FTTP solutions.

      David Waine

      Managing Director

      David joined the Passcomm team in 2008 with a background in fibre optics and opto-electronics from his days at BICC, AMP & AMS Technologies. He joined the Passcomm business as Sales Director before moving into the Managing Director role after 2 years.

      David is responsible for the Sales team and tasks them with taking the business forward by harnessing in-house knowledge to create new opportunities. He is passionate about bringing new technologies to market and utilising them to deliver solutions for Passcomm clients.

Martin Davies

Operations Director

When setting up Passcomm in 1999, the business identified Martin as the man to lead operations. With his extensive background in fibre-optics, Martin was part of a team in 1993 that set up Europtics, a joint venture between BICC, NTT & Furukawa. Since joining the Passcomm team, Martin has been instrumental in all aspects of how the business is run on a day to day basis. Despite a modest manner, Martin is often the first port of call for technical queries for many rail and highways engineers who rely on his wealth of knowledge.

Martin is passionate about developing Passcomm’ s young team of engineers to continue the legacy of providing integrated design and manufacturing to its clients.

Stuart Read

                           Sales & Marketing Director

After qualifying in 2008 with a degree in Advertising and Brand Management from Manchester Metropolitan University, Stuart embarked on a 4 year procurement role. Keen to explore his marketing qualification, he then moved on to brand management within the automotive sector.

In 2015 Stuart joined the Passcomm business development team. After a successful stint in this role he became Sales and Marketing Director in 2019.

Stuart is a results driven individual, with an eye for detail. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction and delivering innovative solutions.
